In "Let's Put Put Pornography Back in the Closet"(1979) Susan Brownmiller argues that there should be restrictions on public displays of pornography. Brownmiller presents her argument strongly by providing lots of solid evidence and making valid statements. She writes this persuasive essay in order to convince her audience that the first amendment was not made to protect pornography and that porn has negative effects on society.
